Description of Duties of the Minister of Arts and Sciences

  • Adhere to all requirements as listed under "General Officer Duties"
  • Foster and encourage the study and application of medieval arts and sciences.
  • Maintain a resource and referral list of Baronial populace members with specific skills in the arts and sciences.
  • Arrange for classes in Arts and Sciences subjects of interest to Baronial populace members.
  • Work with event autocrats and the Baronage to coordinate appropriate arts and sciences activities at Baronial events.
  • Work with the Baronage to determine the format of the Baronial Arts and Sciences Championship.
  • Oversee all arts and sciences competitions and displays held in the Barony, to include assistance with registration, scoring, and procuring qualified judges.
  • Work with the Baronial Chronicler to solicit articles for the Arts and Sciences issue of The Questing Quill.
